Keep the passport handy

IELTS Exam center is no less than a security check at the airport. You’ll be asked lot many questions if you don’t have the ID, tickets, and boarding pass at the airport. Avoid this questioning at the IELTS center by making sure you have your passport with you. The wisdom lies in keeping your passport along with Aadhaar Card, Voter’s ID and driving license as well.

Behaving naturally shows confidence.This enhances your Fluency scores as well as your Pronunciation scores.

 

Track the exact location

If possible, go and visit the IELTS exam center day before to ensure you have a fair bit of an idea of the place, the time it will take from your location to the exam center and the traffic situation. To ensure you stay focused on the day without losing time, knowing the exact location of the Exam center is critical.

 

A day in hand

Dare you think it’s just 2 hours 40 minute exam and you are done. You must take into account the travel time, registration time at the center and the schedule for another exam, such as speaking exam, which may, may not be at the same time. Hence, avoid any other plan like a movie with friends or coffee with the girlfriend.

 

Command on the language

On the day of the exam, you are the hero.So, speak English, think in English, even dream in English and excuse parents and friends.On the exam day; in fact, from the week before, speak only in English. You need your brain to be absolutely tuned in English.

 

Eat little , feel fresh

Indeed, it’s a stressful day and stress can make you either sleep more or eat more and it’s a cycle of eating and sleeping. So avoid eating much before the IELTS exams. Like breakfast or a glass of milk would do the much better job.

 

Cheating complete NO NO

Exam center ensures best in class examiners and invigilators, who are not only strict but also amazing observers of your face and body language.Don’t ever think of cheating in IELTS exams.

 

Self Talk

Nothing would serve your purpose better than staying positive, thinking of clearing exams, and remain confident about your preparation. Tell yourself “You are meant to clear it and you shall do IT”
